All the merchandise supplied by PME Power is covered by our warranty and exchange policy and procedures.

Warranty

At PME Power, customer satisfaction is our top priority.   Products distributed by PME Power are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service.  This warranty is in effect from the date of purchase by the user.

Branded products from our factory partners have specific warranties for each model, which is honored by PME Power.  All products have a minimum 2-year warranty, but some as high as 10-year warranty.

No other express warranty is provided and no warranties extend beyond those described herein. This warranty is in lieu of any other implied or expressed warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for use. There shall be no responsibility or liability whatsoever on the part of PME Power or its employees or representatives for injury to any persons, or damage to person or persons, or damage to property, or loss of income or profit, or any other consequences. Canadian Power Conversion, Inc. assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages of any kind.

PME Power’s warranty is valid against defects in materials and workmanship for the specific product warranty period.  It is not valid against defects resulting from, but not limited to:

  • Misuse and/or abuse, neglect or accident

  • Exceeding the unit’s design limits

  • Improper installation, including, but not limited to, improper environmental protection and improper hook-up

  • Acts of God, including lightning, floods, earthquakes, fire, and high winds

  • Damage in handling, including damage encountered during shipment.

A warranty shall be considered void if the warranted product is in any way opened or altered. The warranty will be void if any eyelet, rivets, or other fasteners used to seal the unit are removed or altered, or if the unit’s serial number is in any way removed, altered, replaced, defaced, or rendered illegi

PME Power is unable to guarantee compatibility of its products with other components used in conjunction with PME Power products, including, but not limited to batteries, and system interconnects.  

Return Material Authorization (RMA) Procedure

At PME Power we strive to make our return procedures as convenient as possible.  We understand that product requiring replacement or repair is a pain so our policy is not to charge any restocking fees.

In order to return a product to PME Power for replacement or repair, please provide the following information by email to our office (rma@pmepower.com)

  • The products model

  • The manufacturer's part number

  • The serial number, if applicable

  • The ship-to address (the address to where you would like the product returned)

  • Your preferred shipping courier and account number

  • A detailed description of the problem

  • PME Power will provide our customers with an RMA number and the cost of repair if the unit is no longer under warranty.

Products returned to PME Power must be shipped prepaid to the authorized location only.   The RMA Number is to be labeled on the outside of the package for identification and processing purposes.  If the product is replaced or repaired, the shipment will be at the purchaser’s expense.    Please do not ship any item back to PME Power without referencing your RMA number.
